Connecting an ʻOhana, Growing a Community

We recently had the pleasure of chatting with Kitty Greer, who along with her two daughters, individually purchased new homes at Kuilei Place. While the prime location, contemporary design, and inspiring amenities immediately caught their attention, it’s what lies beneath the surface that solidified their choice to establish new roots in this community.

“I love the idea that I can live in the same building as my children and grandchildren, but we each have our separate units, allowing us to maintain some personal space It’s the perfect middle ground.”

In their new multi-generational living environment, Kitty and her ʻohana are not only realizing their dream of living together, but they’ve also found a dynamic residence that caters to their individual needs. For the kids, there are multiple playgrounds and ample open lawn space to run freely. For quality family time, the choices are abundant: from barbecue cabanas and theater-like clubrooms to our resort-style pool and penthouse private dining suites – one with its own karaoke lounge!

Off property, Kuilei Place’s central location provides easy access to excellent schools and recreational opportunities. “My grandchildren play soccer at Kapiʻolani Park three times a week,” says Kitty. “Having this amazing park so close will make a real difference. I also love how close the beaches are!”

At Kuilei Place, living with extended family doesn’t mean sacrificing personal space. You can stay closer to your ʻohana than ever before while still enjoying the comfort of your own homes. For us, elevated island living isn’t just about smart design and convenience; it’s also about growing together and nurturing generational connections that will endure for decades to come.

“Our whole family worked so hard to make this dream come true. When we found out that we were all able to purchase at Kuilei Place, three generations living together each in our own home, it became quite emotional,” said Kitty. “Some of us even teared up. We knew just how special this was going to be for all of us.”
